POPEYE’S LOUISIANA KITCHEN

So typically I stay away from Fast Food joints but this crazy buzz about Popeye’s chicken sandwich sparked my interest so I decided to go to the closest Popeye’s I could find and pick me up a Sandwich. https://www.popeyes.com

When I got to the Restaurant I wanted to go inside so I could study the menu a bit since I had never been in a Popeye’s.  The sign on the door said “Drive Thru Only”.(usually not a good sign)  The drive thru was full and it took about 15min to get through.  I ordered 5 Mild Chicken Sandwich’s and two  fries(all Five weren’t for me FYI). I took them back to the office and handed them out.  Taste was ok, the chicken was dry and no where close to a Chick-Fil-A Sandwich.  All five of us agreed that it would be better to drive the 30mins to Chick-Fil-A for one of their sandwich’s then the 5 min to Popeye’s for theirs.  So my review is in- I won’t be going back for a chicken sandwich any time soon and whoever started this challenge that this was a better chicken sandwich then Chick-Fil-A should probably look for a different profession. Or on the other hand it was a genius idea to try and boost Popeye’s Sales????? Believe me though, it will be short lived. Cheers!
